Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a non-exempt press operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare product to customer specifications. The role involves operating the press, spotting non-conformities, and supporting setup and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be willing to obtain forklift and crane certifications within six months, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs while working in hot or dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain forklift and crane certifications within 6 months.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and work in hot, dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Operates press and inspects/prepares parts for shipment per instructions.
• Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or machine/material issues.
• Communicates production issues to the next press operator and grinds parts as needed.
• Reads job specifications to adjust machine settings and material needs.
• Reviews product for consistency and quality with required standards.
• Performs routine machine maintenance and uses basic hand tools.
