Tenneco is seeking a Machine Operator in Indiana to operate manufacturing equipment and support lean manufacturing initiatives. You will ensure safe, efficient machine operation while meeting targets and maintaining quality across production lines.

Role involves teamwork with production, materials, and logistics, with on-site shift capability and a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. Starting pay is competitive with shift premiums for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Proficient with measuring tools and hand tools.
• Willingness to work any shift.
• Team-oriented and safety-conscious.

Responsabilidades

• Operate machinery and production equipment.
• Produce parts per work orders and specs.
• Maintain production levels and quality standards.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Prepare parts for production and remove defects.
• Set up machines to job requirements.
• Monitor operations and detect issues.
• Measure workpieces to verify dimensions.
• Maintain production, scrap and quality records.
• Support job rotation and cross-training.
• Follow safety policies and 5S standards.
• Report equipment or quality concerns.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
