Job summary

GardenCore, a leading U.S. lawn and garden consumables manufacturer, seeks a Machine Operator to run manual and automated equipment in a fast-paced facility. You will monitor operations, ensure quality, meet schedules, and assist with maintenance and housekeeping.

The role requires 3+ years in related trades, a high school diploma or GED, and strong safety awareness. Teamwork and independent thinking are valued in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out.
• Ability to speak or hear and sit for extended periods; stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs and perform physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and components to detect malfunctions.
• Operate equipment to meet quality, cost and daily schedules.
• Notify management of production, safety, quality, or environmental concerns.
• Understand and meet bagging specifications and quality targets.
• Daily cleanup of production area and accurate completion of production forms.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning.
