Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Machine Operator GL3 for the 2nd shift. The role requires precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and the ability to modify or create program settings according to equipment, product, and customer needs.

This position acts as a final quality checkpoint before the product reaches customers. Safety, GMPs, and quality standards must be followed, and overtime may be required as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Must have basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.
• Must be able to understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials from the process.
• Operate pallet jack, riders or forklift as required.
