Job summary

JBS Foods is hiring a Machine Operator GL3 for our Mason, OH facility. The role starts at $20 per hour and involves precise machine adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and creating program settings to meet production standards.

Safety and GMP guidelines apply as you ensure quality checkpoints before product delivery. The position requires standing at a work station, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in General Production 2 and able to follow safety rules.
• Ability to perform precise adjustments and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Experience with reading work orders and basic equipment programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials from the process.
• Arrive at workstation on time and work until tasks are complete; overtime may be required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift equipment safely; observe Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
