Job summary

CRH is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to operate machinery and ensure quality production. The role requires reading specifications, setting equipment, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

You will support setup and maintenance tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic plant environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Perform basic math operations for measurements and material requirements.
• Be able to use Microsoft Office for tracking tasks.
• Demonstrate initiative and work independently.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale.
• Observe machine operation for defects or malfunctions.
• Review product for consistency and quality compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist others to set up machines and meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean, orderly assigned area and safety practices.
