Job summary

CRH is seeking a qualified Machine Operator at its Rehoboth, MA facility. Operate machinery per safety policies to produce a superior product and meet production schedules.

You will read job specifications, set up machines, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance, and assist others to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or related experience is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; flexible schedule.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
• Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in assigned area
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
