Job summary

CRH plc is seeking a machine operator to operate equipment according to safety policies and production standards. You will read specifications, adjust settings, monitor operations, and inspect products for quality while assisting with setup and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding of electronics and programmable controllers
• Knowledge with the basics of hydraulics, electricity and tools
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must encompass computer literacy as well as strong mechanical ability
• Leadership abilities preferred
