The position supports 2nd shift (M-F, 3pm-11pm) with training on 1st shift (M-F, 7am-3pm). An hourly shift premium of $1.00 per hour applies on off shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or one-year related experience.
• Must be available for all shifts; overtime and weekends as schedule varies by site needs.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship not available.
• Includes access to export-controlled items; employment offers conditioned on eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations of all customer gauges daily.
• Repair customer gauges to keep them functional for production use.
• Run CMM programs on production castings daily.
• Correlate CMM programs to manual results daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with CMMs in the plant daily.
• Calibrate precision measurement equipment to ISO standards weekly.
• Maintain CMM machines monthly.
• Interpret customer specifications and ISO quality standards.
• Operate CMM software packages such as FLB, OFI, Autoscan, Fanamation, AutoCAD and Valysis daily.
• Apply blueprint interpretation and geometric tolerancing in inspections daily.
• Apply trigonometry knowledge to projects daily.
• Report inspection results to tolerances of 0.0005 unless precision equipment warrants 0.0002.
