The role emphasizes precision, quality output, and safe, efficient production in a high-volume environment. You will maintain tooling, perform routine maintenance, read drawings, inspect parts with measuring tools, and collaborate with fabrication teams to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate in Laser Technology or related field from an accredited technical school.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements (drug screen, background check).

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to perform precision cutting operations on metal components.
• Adjust and maintain laser beam focal points, alignment, and cutting parameters for optimal performance.
• Perform machine setup and changeovers to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and checks; monitor performance and document metrics.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring tools and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Identify and report defective materials or process issues to supervision.
• Prepare and stage raw materials; load and unload materials safely.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives with teams.
