Job summary

B&T USA is seeking a detail-oriented Laser Engraver Technician to operate and maintain laser engraving machines and produce high-quality engravings per job orders. You will interpret blueprints, set up software, and ensure safety and precision in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires experience with laser engraving on metals, composites, and plastics, with a focus on accuracy, upkeep, and timely production. On-site work with potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Laser Engraving Technician or similar role in manufacturing
• Familiarity with materials such as metal, composites, and plastic
• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications
• Proficiency in programming and operating laser engraving machines
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
• Knowledge of laser safety procedures
• Capable of working independently and meeting production deadlines

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laser engraving machines.
• Etch designs onto materials like wood, glass, metal, and plastic.
• Interpret blueprints and design specifications.
• Follow engraving project specifications.
• Set up and program software for engraving.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and safety protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks to meet specs.
• Perform minor repairs on engraving equipment.
• Maintain production records and work orders.
• Ensure a safe work environment and teamwork across departments.
