B&T USA is seeking a dedicated Laser Engraver Technician to operate and maintain laser engraving machines, producing precise engravings across materials like wood, metal, and plastics. You will interpret designs, set up software, and ensure quality while following safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and proven engraving experience in manufacturing. You will work in a fast-paced shop, coordinating with teams to meet tight production deadlines and maintain records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven Laser Engraving Technician experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with metals, composites, and plastics.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or design specifications.
• Proficient in programming and operating laser engraving machines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser engraving.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laser engraving machines.
• Use laser engraving machines to etch designs onto wood, glass, metal, and plastic.
• Interpret blueprints and design specifications.
• Set up and program engraving software for the process.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on machines.
• Follow all safety protocols during operation.
• Perform quality checks to ensure designs meet specs.
• Perform minor repairs on engraving machines as needed.
• Maintain records of materials, production reports, and work orders.
• Coordinate with management and staff to meet production demands.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Encourage teamwork and support cross-department collaboration.
