Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks Inventory Control/Warehouse Specialists in Lee's Summit, MO. Onsite role focused on accurate shipping/receiving, inventory management, and safe warehouse operations. You will support a small team, process orders, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

This role requires physical stamina and adherence to regulatory standards. You will handle documentation, use UPS WorldShip/FedEx tools, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or high school diploma.
• At least 2 years of inventory control experience with cycle counts and quarterly inventories.
• Experience operating a pallet jack or sit-down forklift with overhead locations up to 32 ft.
• Experience assisting internal or external customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, approve, and process order requests.
• Generate documentation for shipping small packages (UPS/FedEx), LTL, and full truck loads.
• Reconcile shipping/receiving docs daily to maintain inventory accountability.
• Maintain organized, efficient, and clean work areas.
• Coordinate with shipping vendors to ensure timely delivery and service.
• Research inventory processing issues for shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• Manage daily scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, and training.
• Lift, carry, and stack items up to 65 pounds.
• Work in multi-shift operations during peak seasons with extended hours.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company regulations compliance, focusing on HazMat.
