Job summary

Power-Sales is seeking a Receiving Associate in Lenexa, KS to efficiently move products and maintain accurate inventory. You’ll handle incoming shipments, verify orders, inspect items for damage, and organize stock within the distribution center.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is 5:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; six months distribution/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks or be willing to learn.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long hours.
• Excellent teamwork and communication; flexible to weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verify against orders and packing lists.
• Inspect merchandise for damages and discrepancies; report issues.
• Sort, label, and organize items for storage and retrieval.
• Update stock levels in inventory systems; track incoming shipments.
• Inspect quality and quantity before placing into inventory.
• Use barcode scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods and unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Collaborate with team to fulfill orders accurately and on time.
• Assist with process improvements in warehouse operations.
