Job summary

Power Sales & Advertising, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate in Lenexa, KS to efficiently manage the movement of product and maintain accurate inventory. You will handle incoming shipments, verify items, use WMS and barcode scanning, and work with the team to ensure timely order fulfillment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible hours including weekends during peak season are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of distribution or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Forklift and/or pallet jack experience or willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends in November–January.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Consistent attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Inspect merchandise for damages, defects and discrepancies and report issues.
• Sort, label, and organize items for storage and retrieval.
• Update stock levels in inventory systems and track incoming shipments.
• Inspect and verify products for quality and quantity before placing into inventory.
• Use barcode scanning and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks to move inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
