Job summary

Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals (APAA) is a locally grown, Alaskan-owned small business delivering auction services for a variety of items. The Inventory Loadout Coordinator role supports preparation, tracking, and safe storage of merchandise, ensuring items are ready for auction or pickup.

As a full-time hourly position, you will maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with shipping and intake teams, and uphold APAA’s high standards of professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related shipping or warehouse operations experience.
• Ability to read and interpret invoices, memoranda, and company policies.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background and reference check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule or direction.
• Maintain the inventory tracking system accurately to ensure items are stored safely and organized.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization while prioritizing safety and preventing damage to consigned merchandise.
• Follow APAA policies for storing special items such as combustibles, firearms, jewelry, precious stones, and metals.
• Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, hand trucks, carts, or other conveyances as required.
• Keep the loadout bay, warehouse, and all storage areas clean and free of garbage, debris, snow, and ice.
• Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damage to consigned merchandise immediately.
• Ensure all buyers’ merchandise marked for “shipping” is transferred to the shipping department.
