Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. seeks an assembler/fabricator to support the fabrication of radial spacers, bandaged spacers, tapered spacers and static rings. The role involves operating woodw orking equipment, assembling spacers, insulation components and cylinder assemblies in a large shop.

The position requires following a bill of materials, maintaining quality, and rotating between tasks to balance workload and reduce ergonomic stress. HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Set up and operate woodworking machinery.
• Mill insulation strips and punch parts per BOM, including ribs and waxed components.
• Assemble radial spacer and bandaged spacer assemblies.
• Fabricate and assemble insulation yoke materials and cylinders as specified.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and complete inspection forms.
