Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and other equipment to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials. You will work safely in a fast-paced environment and contribute to meeting daily production goals.

The role requires basic computer skills and a high school diploma or GED, with forklift certification and the ability to obtain respirator certification if needed. Local travel may be required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as band saws and other saws to fabricate insulation materials.
• Accurately measure materials for efficient production.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping in the work area.
• Ensure production levels are met daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
