Job summary

The Assembler will assemble small components. This role will assemble the THP product line (OF/OF2, N2 systems, N2 Generator). This role will also braze and weld.

This role will also have large assembly projects (Tap Changer Overhauls, LRT200 builds). 70% of the role will consist of Assembly and teardown, 20% of the role will consist of sub-assembly, and the remaining 10% of the role will be testing, inspection, and work product and station clean-up. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience in listed fields above.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed wiring diagrams, and drawings.
• Familiar with basic measuring tools (Calipers).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and large assembly projects.
• Train new hires on shop layout and different functions.
• Drive as needed (Plating, ACT, ACCU Machining).
• Exceed or meet Work Order build times.
• Clean parts.
• Inspect parts to print to verify assembly.
• Keep work area clean and free of hazards.
• Maintaining acceptable production rate while not sacrificing quality of work.
• Meeting customer and company quality standards.
• Minimizing rework and scrap.
• Optimizing setup time.
• Must adhere to all company safety standards.
• Must provide support to other departments on an as needed basis.
• Day to day work assignments may increase in complexity and volume
