Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Group in Dudley, MA seeks a production operator to manage injection molding equipment and maintain high-quality optic lenses. You will join a high-performance team and be involved in setup, changeovers, audits, and data recording to minimize downtime and waste.

Responsibilities include process parameter adjustment, mold setup, calibration with gauges, and cross-functional support to engineering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• 1-2 years’ experience in plastics manufacturing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor precision injection molding machines.
• Perform process setup to conform to ISO procedures.
• Perform changeovers (shutdown machine; remove mold; clean, prepare and replace inserts; restart machine).
• Perform on-line product audits. Record daily parameters and enter data into the computer.
• Interpret process parameters and adjust to meet specifications.
• Maintain documentation and ensure quality standards are met.
