Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a hands-on Industrial Precision Assembler to assemble, disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild large industrial pumps and rotating equipment. This role requires experience with heavy machinery, overhead cranes, rigging, hydraulic tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, industrial repair experience, and the ability to safely move, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild large equipment in a manufacturing or repair

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial mechanical assembly, equipment repair, or rotating equipment service.
• Experience with large components and heavy mechanical assemblies; and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble large pumps and rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, and repair specs.
• Use overhead cranes, rigging, and lifting devices to move large components.
• Perform mechanical assembly and rebuilds of bearings, shafts, seals, housings, and couplings.
• Conduct inspections with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Troubleshoot failures and replace worn components; perform pressure and functional testing.
• Maintain repair documentation and comply with safety and quality procedures.
