Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R registration required within 6 months.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently.
• Strong attention to safety and patient care.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients, and prepare them for exams while respecting confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners during fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
