Qualifications

• Graduate from a specialty training program in radiologic technology (preferred bachelor's degree).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R certification within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information and prepare patients while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and adhere to ALARA for safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, documenting actions.
• Evaluate image quality, positioning, and transfer/storage accuracy.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist practitioners during procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in various settings including ORs/ICUs.
