Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification within six months for new graduates.
• Hires after a certain date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.
• Proficiency in radiographic procedures, patient care, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, prepare patients, and document clinical history.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed and assess image quality.
• Verify data transfer and archiving of images, and educate or monitor students.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
