Socket.dev is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to join our Charlotte, NC service team. You will install residential heating and cooling systems safely, efficiently, and to company standards while protecting customers’ homes.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience or similar, strong knowledge of airflow, electrical, refrigeration, and controls, and a commitment to quality workmanship. EPA certification is a plus; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Three years of residential HVAC installation experience expected, but not required.
• Experience installing a variety of residential HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of airflow, electrical, refrigeration, venting, and controls.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install residential heating and cooling systems safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Read job scopes and prepare materials, tools, and equipment.
• Protect the customer’s home and maintain a clean work area.
• Identify installation, code, safety, and performance concerns.
• Communicate job progress and changes with customers, teammates, and management.
• Complete accurate installation documentation.
