Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and work holding for large components.
• Operate horizontal boring mills to machine large castings.
• Load and edit CNC programs to meet specs.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, and offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
• Document results and communicate issues to supervision.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams.
• Follow safety procedures for rigging and handling heavy components.
