Brunswick Boat Group is recruiting for a Holecutter who will drill and cut holes in fiberglass hulls and decks with precision, following blueprints and templates. You will use drill, hole saws, grinders, routers and related tools, ensuring clean edges and proper fit for assemblies.

The role requires reading work instructions, maintaining safe work practices, and operating in a busy marine manufacturing environment with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to safely operate hand-held cutting and drilling tools.
• Must read and follow work instructions, templates, and basic blueprints to locate and cut holes accurately.
• Ability to visually inspect openings for size, placement and quality and correct as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark hole positions on fiberglass hulls, decks, and molded components using blueprints, templates, measurements and work instructions.
• Cut, drill and trim holes in fiberglass parts using hand-held drills, hole saws, grinders, routers and related tools to specifications.
• Finish grinding around openings for proper fit and smooth edges prior to assembly.
• Inspect drilled openings to verify size and placement, correcting defects as needed.
• Operate cutting, drilling and grinding equipment safely following PPE and dust control practices.
