Job summary

OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products with facilities in western Massachusetts. We seek a Heat Treat Machine Operator to set up, run, and inspect heat treating processes, ensuring conformance to specifications while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, following run sheets, and performing routine maintenance. A team-oriented, reliable candidate with strong quality focus is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player committed to safety and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; heat treat or furnace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine, observe operation, inspect first run for spec conformance.
• Read blueprints or job orders for product specs and tolerances.
• Enter and adjust heat treat recipes to production run sheets.
• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area and assist others as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and process controls.
