Job summary

FM Industries, based in Livermore, CA, is seeking a Hardware Assembler 3 to support helicoil kitting, installation, gasket cutting, dowel pins, and related assembly tasks on aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper parts with minimal supervision. You will read blueprints, follow tooling instructions, and ensure quality finishes on post-anodize parts.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, a high school diploma or technical training, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School.
• Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
• 4-6 years' related experience preferred.
• Enrolled in vocational education for machine technology or practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD&T preferred.

Responsibilities

• Kitting helicoils for jobs, installing helicoils, cutting gaskets or masking, dowel pins, keencerts, captive screws, pem nuts/studs and Lee plugs on repeat or proven parts with little to no direction from area Lead or Supervisor.
• Polishing sealing surface lay patterns on a variety of post anodize parts.
