Job summary

Crestron Electronics, Inc. in New York is seeking a production assembler to read instructions and assemble products on the production line, including wiring and mechanical assemblies. You will operate PCBA equipment and test devices per IPC/IPC-like standards and ensure quality and safety at all times.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, using hand tools, and cross-training across production cells while maintaining clean, safe work practices and meeting manufacturing specifications.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 0-2 years of experience in Manufacturing environment
• Must have the willingness to learn and be trained on various types of equipment
• Moderately complex work performed within established practices and procedures requiring critical thinking skills
• Demonstrate the willingness to cross train across various production cells
• Experience with Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical assembly processes and measurements

• Utilize hand tools such as handheld screwdrivers, cordless/pneumatic drill guns and other job specific tooling as required by departmental SOP

Assemble, Configure, Laser mark or fabricate wiring and or mechanical parts, handling of materials, Metals, Fabrics, Plastics, and or finished products together using a variety of tools and equipment according to required blueprints, Layouts, and component overviews in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Set up and operation of PCBA equipment, test equipment utilizing IPC standards
