Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Tucson, AZ is hiring a 2nd shift Ergo Tech Grinding Operator to support on-site production. The role requires reading blueprints, operating precision machines, and performing maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

We seek candidates with at least eight years in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work 2:30PM–11:00PM on weekdays. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Eight years or more in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Study parts, drawings and engineering data to determine methods and sequences.
• Measure and test completed units to detect defects.
• Fabricate, install and maintain facility machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
