Qualifications

• Diploma or AAS in machine trades.
• Minimum of two years of machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and routings.
• Ability to edit programs and set up multiple machines; understand G&M Codes.
• Move freely among cell machines as workload demands.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to fabricate metal parts with varying sizes and shapes, specifically grinding.
• Inspect and set up machines manually or with small hand tools.
• Inspect and change fixtures as necessary; load pieces and start processes.
• Set dials, switches and programs; monitor progress and prepare for next piece.
• Remove finished parts and inspect for errors; maintain quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
