Job summary

TrendHR is seeking an experienced Precision Grinder / Grinding Machinist for a Fort Worth operation. This is not a basic production role; you will set up and operate OD/ID grinders, surface and Blanchard/rotary surface grinders, and grind components to tight tolerances from engineering prints.

You will read prints, dress wheels, and adjust machines to maintain dimensional accuracy while inspecting your work with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• Experience with precision grinding or grinding machinist work required.
• Ability to read blueprints and machining drawings.
• Must hold tight tolerances and inspect own work with precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate OD / cylindrical grinders.
• Set up and operate ID grinders.
• Operate surface and Blanchard / rotary surface grinders.
• Grind components to specified dimensions and finishes.
• Read blueprints, select/dress wheels, and adjust for accuracy.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers and gauges.
