Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Grinder Production A - 2nd Shift (MTC) to operate a range of grinders on production, experimental and tool work.

You will set up, adjust, and run centerless, surface, external and thread grinders while maintaining tight tolerances. This role requires at least three years of production grinding experience with setup, good hand tools, and precision measurement skills; ITAR compliance applies to access to export-restricted information.

Qualifications

• Three years of production grinding experience including setup.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Performs difficult grinding work on any and all types grinders.
• Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads.
• Sets up truing devices on thread grinding and selects proper speeds, feeds, and wheels.
• Holds work to required tolerances with exacting setups and fixtures.
