Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Deslag/Grinder to support production by meeting quality, quantity and delivery targets while working safely. The role operates electronic grinders to smooth and finish parts before and after processing.

Qualifications

High School or GED equivalent.
Ability to read customer part prints or completion of print reading class.
Completion of the appropriate work center training program(s).
Proper use and care of precision instruments.
Follow detailed and extensive instructions.
Mechanically inclined, production oriented and safety and quality conscious.
General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.

Responsibilities

Operate electronic grinders to smooth and finish parts prior to and after processing.
Perform general housekeeping for warehouse.
Satisfy customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery in a safe manner.
