The position emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency. You will maintain a clean workspace and may be required to work overtime or participate in special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Experience operating grinders and checking surface quality.
• Ability to read or follow specifications.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.

Responsabilités

• Examine and feel surface for defects.
• Operate a stand grinder to remove excess material.
• Work with medium to large castings and maintain contours.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
• Overtime as needed.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
