Job summary

TPi Arcade, LLC is seeking a V Process Grinder to efficiently utilize casting finishing practices and techniques that satisfy the customer and subsequent process operations. Involves grinding castings of advanced complexity.

Working as part of a team, you will produce quality parts to production standards, maintain tools/equipment, and learn to read technical documents and use measuring instruments. Safety rules and duties are emphasized in this role.

Responsibilities

• Straighten castings and finish grind to customer specs.
• Sort castings into batches for sequencing.
• Work as part of a team to produce quality parts to standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Perform minor maintenance on grinders; replace discs/belts.
• Learn to use various hand tools.
• Learn to read technical documents.
• Learn to use measuring instruments.
• Follow posted standards and instructions.
• Straighten, gauge and patch to meet specs.
• Inspect parts to posted instructions.
• Learn gross casting defects and report to lead or supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
