Job summary

Woodward is seeking an experienced NC Grinder to join its manufacturing team on a contract basis through December 2027.

Key Responsibilities of the Precision Grinder

• Set up and operate NC grinding machines to manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure components meet required dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, gauges and indicators, to verify component accuracy.
• Make machine adjustments as required to maintain product quality and process consistency.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues to minimise defects and production downtime.
• Follow established safety procedures, manufacturing instructions and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
