Staker Parson Companies in Smithfield, UT is seeking a skilled Motor Grader Operator to prepare and finish grades on roadways and job sites. You will read grade stakes, maintain slopes and drainage, and work with crews to meet project specs.

This role requires adherence to safety standards, pre/post inspections, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. CDL preferred, high school diploma preferred, and prior grader experience preferred. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating motor graders on road/site projects preferred.
• Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders to perform rough and finish grading on roadways and sites.
• Establish and maintain grades, slopes, drainage, and alignment per specifications.
• Read grade stakes and construction layouts.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and documentation.
• Monitor equipment condition and report needed repairs.
• Cooperate with supervisors and crews to meet production goals.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
