You will operate motor graders, backhoes, skid steers, and rollers, read plans, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with dump truck crews; overtime and weekend work may be required. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years operating heavy equipment, specifically motor grader.
• Experience operating backhoe, skid steer, and roller preferred.
• Able to read project plans and grades on grade stakes.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation; CDL preferred.
• Candidates must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Pass pre-employment drug test; random tests may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform fine grading and leveling to meet specs.
• Operate motor grader controls for grading and material placement.
• Follow safety protocols to avoid hazards on site.
• Control material flow for consistent compaction and thickness.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Coordinate with dump truck drivers using hand signals.
• Operate tamping machines or rollers to compact surfaces.
