Ethan Allen in Maiden, NC is seeking an experienced upholstery assembler to perform frame assembly, foam stapling, and fabric attachment using pneumatic tools. You will move frames from conveyor to upholstery lift, cut filler, and finish with precise seams for a high-quality look.

The role requires reading and following directions, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance). Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two to five years experience.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Basic math skills: counting, adding, subtracting.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must have hand-eye coordination.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task.
• Must complete job duties in timely manner.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Flexible to changing work stations as business dictates.

Responsabilidades

• Move assembled frames from conveyor to upholstery lift using a transfer cart.
• Staple foam filler to the frame with a pneumatic staple gun.
• Cut excess filler and attach fabric/leather with scissors and box cutter.
• Smooth seams using a regulator for a crisp finished appearance.
• Trim excess fabric around the finished wood frame with a box cutter.
• Occasional lifting to set frames off the assembly conveyor for repairs.
