RTX/Pratt & Whitney seeks a Forge Team Member for 3rd shift to operate forging presses and inspect aerospace components at the Macon, GA site. You will read blueprints, set up dies, and verify part quality while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments helpful.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, metals or heavy manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor forging presses and related equipment to shape metal into precision aerospace components.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to perform machine setups and produce parts within tolerances.
• Inspect and measure forged parts using precision measuring tools to verify quality.
• Install, adjust, and remove dies, fixtures, and tooling while monitoring equipment performance and addressing issues.
• Work safely and collaboratively with teammates to maintain production flow and support continuous improvement.
