Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney Columbus Forge team in Georgia is seeking a Forge Team Member to operate forging presses, monitor equipment, and inspect parts to meet tight aerospace tolerances. You will work on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM) and collaborate with teammates to maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor forging presses and related equipment to shape metal into precision aerospace components.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to perform machine setups and produce parts within required tolerances.
• Inspect and measure forged parts using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Install, adjust, and remove dies, fixtures, and tooling while monitoring equipment performance and identifying potential issues.
• Work safely and collaboratively with teammates to maintain production flow, troubleshoot equipment, and support continuous improvement.
