Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge team is seeking a Forge Team Member to operate and monitor forging equipment, perform quality inspections, and ensure every part meets the highest standards for safety, quality, and performance.

This weekend night shift runs Friday–Sunday, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with opportunities to work with skilled colleagues on aerospace components and precision tooling. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/industrial manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor forging presses and related equipment to shape metal into aerospace components.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to perform machine setups and produce parts within tolerances.
• Inspect and measure forged parts using precision tools to verify quality.
• Install, adjust, and remove dies, fixtures, and tooling while monitoring equipment performance.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain production flow and support continuous improvement.
