Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a production associate to operate multiple packaging and filling lines, uphold GMP and HACCP standards, and ensure clean, safe equipment between runs. You will be trained on equipment such as fillers, sealers, wrappers, cartoners, and case erectors, with responsibilities including quality checks, paperwork, and collaboration with Foreman and QA.

A high school diploma and basic math skills are preferred, with prior food-manufacturing experience a plus;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety and GMP/HACCP guidelines.
• Operate and troubleshoot assigned lines and equipment (Filler, Sealer, End of Line, etc.).
• Complete required paperwork and communicate with Foreman, Supervisor and QA.
• Ensure equipment is clean and perform pre/post-run inspections.
• Train new/current employees on equipment and SOPs.
• Be flexible with schedule as needed.
• Adhere to SOP and SSOP standards and set a positive example.
