Job summary

CCL Industries is seeking a Folder Technician to operate and maintain large and small format folders in a high-volume production environment. You will set up folds, troubleshoot to tight tolerances, and ensure glued finishes with no exposed edges.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, 6S, and accurate paperwork. Strong reading of rulers (to 1/64”), English communication, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Folder Technician background preferred.
• Must read a ruler to 1/64” and perform precise measurements.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Good mechanical skills and organizational abilities.
• Oversee multiple machines and ensure quality checks per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain folding equipment (folders first station, right turn angle, second station, knife unit, glue unit).
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on folders.
• Set up and troubleshoot to customer tolerances.
• Glue finished units and seal edges.
• Read and implement job jacket information and customer specs.
• Train coworkers as needed for production demands.
• Follow GMP requirements and 6S procedures.
