Job summary

FXI in Coldwater, MS is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate and maintain machinery, monitor foam production, and ensure product quality while using SAP for inventory management.

Responsibilities include tagging inventory in ATS, monitoring bun height, and supervising automated equipment such as conveyors and cutoff saws. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3+ years' experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a machine operator or related production environment.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with SAP to generate inventory tags and verify bun accuracy.
• Estimate shrinkage and bun efficiency to maintain tag accuracy.
• Monitor foam block height and air flow for process control.
• Operate automated equipment including cutters, conveyors, airlocks, and downstream systems.
• Observe production and promptly report defects and label foam samples.
• Perform bun room walk-throughs and report findings to the supervisor.
• Address bun cutting issues and provide feedback to improve processes.
• Remove waste film after pouring and clean equipment/areas.
• Operate the bun room crane when required and manage slurry pours.
• Maintain and monitor automated systems for efficient operation.
