Job summary

Diamondback Firearms, located in New York, is hiring a Firearms Assembler responsible for assembling firearms under limited supervision. The role involves working with both small and large parts and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools, a comfort level around firearms, and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position is full-time, with set weekday hours and potential overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools.
• Must be comfortable around firearms.
• Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery exposure to noise and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists.
• Positions parts and subassemblies using work instructions.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
