Job summary

A Finishing Operator position at Award Staffing in Litchfield, MN is a temporary assignment through December 2026. The role pays $18.00 per hour on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:45 AM–2:15 PM) with overtime as needed. You will follow SOPs, read blueprints, perform under magnification inspection, and record production data with GDP compliance.

Applicants should be able to work well with others, learn production principles, and handle basic math. Lifting up to 40 lbs and standing/sitting are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and video aids.
• Read features of blueprints.
• Read and interpret SOPs/PSOPs.
• Ability to learn and apply production and operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend and perform duties as outlined in SOP/PSOP.
• Keep accurate counts on parts to match job traveler and ERP system.
• Inspect parts under magnification to meet quality specs.
• Communicate problems to area lead or supervisor.
• Meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining quality.
• Follow GDP and document production data accurately.
