Job summary

Nidec in Mankato, MN is seeking a Finish Painter for the 4th shift, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on-site. This role follows manufacturer instructions to mix paint, apply finishes, inspect surfaces, and ensure proper paint build thickness with required TPM tasks.

Qualifications

• A vocational or high school education or equivalent is required plus on-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures.
• Employees in this classification must adhere to the requirements set forth in the Inventory Security Policy.
• Must be a sole US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Follows manufacturer’s instructions to mix paint materials, etc. to proper color and consistency.
• Must inspect finished surfaces for proper appearance and use to determine paint build thickness.
• Finish Painters are required to work a minimum of twenty (20) percent of each week on painting (and related) duties.
